What’s In Store…………..

All these sessions!!!!  A couple weddings….which by the way were an absolute BLAST!!!!  So fun & unique on each occasion.  Stories to tell on those at a later time

Some portrait sessions as well.

I know it’s hard to think about Christmas right now.  With the nice weather…school’s back in session, etc. etc, BUT if you want pictures taken by Oakstream Photography this holiday season you have to think about it NOW!!!!  September is FULL, October is almost full ALREADY!!!  November….I will only do the first week for sessions that you will be guaranteed your prints back by Christmas.  After the first week of November no session will be gauranteed that you’ll have them in time for Christmas.  Sooo don’t wait!!!!!!  Call now to get your date booked!!!

I will be leaving town tomorrow till Monday night.  All e-mails & phone calls will be returned on Tues & Wed.  Thursday I will be headed out to Texas till Saturday.  Then on Thursday, Sept 12th I’ll be headed to Colorado to shoot a wedding that I have been biting at the bit to shoot.  I can NOT wait for that wedding!!!  Soo in the few short days that I am home in the next 2 weeks……I will be trying my hardest to get sessions edited, books made & sessions on my blog.  Life is a whirlwind

Now on to these wonderful people I have in my life!!!!!!

This wedding took place in Eagle Valley (Pioche)Nevada.  My husband came along & he had his first try at DESERT GOLFING!  Let me tell ya what…that was an experience I’ll never forget & I’ll be sharing pics of that along with the OLD saloon we stayed in & all the rooms were themed.  Our room was the ‘Fishing’ room….with a slanted floor cause the building is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO old….hahaha!!!!!  Oh man this was a blast for us!!!!!  The wedding took place at the bride’s parents house on their ranch.  Everything about this wedding was completely fun & beautiful!!!!  The bride would swing for hours on this swing when she was a little girl.

Another wedding I did here in Logan at Utah State.  The groom is from Logan & he traveled to North Carolina to attend UNC for dentistry & found him a Southern Bell   So why are they wearing these glasses & smiling so cheesy with toothbrushes you ask……well cause they are BOTH going to grow up & become dentist   So since that is a part of who they are I had the bride bring something teeth related so we could capture their dentistry moment….hahahahaha!  It was soooo funny doing this.  We enjoyed some laughter.  Wait till you see the images of the bridal party…..particularly the guys!!!  I made them be sassy….can you imagine guys being sassy…..haha…yeah well they were quite the sassy little dudes   All I can say is I’m totally & utterly all about HAVING FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we have some children from Brookings, OR.  They have family here in Logan.  So they wanted some pics up at Bear Lake.  I LOVE Bear Lake…it’s just so gorgeous up there!!! 

Oh what a sweet little bundle of joy.  She has the best parents ever!!!!  Her parents I did an engagement type session back in the summer of 2007.  Now looky what they have!!!!  She is 6 days old in this pic.

A much fun family session!  It was mom’s b-day the day we did these.  What a great gift…go have your picture taken….haha!  They sure kept me smiling though cause the one boy & mom were a little hesitant about pictures…haha….though with a big nerd like me around how can you NOT SMILE!!!!!!!!!  I will pinch you if you don’t laugh & have a good time :-)  Just kidding….I hope you had a great b-day dinner!!!
